Conservation Bureau Website Content Moving to OPA Website

With the passage of the Green Energy and Economy Act, 2009, the mandate of the Conservation Bureau is now being shared by the Ontario Power Authority (OPA), the Environmental Commissioner of Ontario and the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure. The change is part of an exciting evolution of the energy sector in Ontario.

The new approach advances both energy conservation and the development of new, cleaner renewable sources of power for Ontario.

Over the coming weeks, select content from the Conservation Bureau website will be moved to the Ontario Power Authority website. Much of the current material available on the Conservation Bureau website will be of continuing value to those seeking information about:

  • Municipal Energy Conservation Officers;
  • Conservation-related reports and studies; and
  • Energy efficiency, conservation and related topics.

Once the process of content transfer has been completed, users visiting http://www.conservationbureau.on.ca will be redirected to the OPA website .

The OPA welcomes receiving your comments and inquiries about its activities. If you have any questions or want to provide any feedback relating to these changes, please contact us at info@powerauthority.on.ca.
